Heritage Museum of Epirus
This is a WordPress-powered site that I designed and am currently building for a Greek folk art and cultural center in Astoria, New York. The site colors are those of the Greek flag. The Society of Epirotes Anagenesis, whose logo appears on the left of the header, runs the museum. The simple design complements the Society’s letterhead and identity. The site includes a slideshow on the homepage and several image galleries that features the museum’s collections.
Information architecture and visual design
After interviewing the client, I mapped out a diagram to organize information to be published on the website. From this information architecture, I mocked up the visual design based on the client’s request for a simple color palette reflecting the colors of the Greek flag and use of their existing logo.
